Sportsgirl is turning again to its shopfront windows to offer its customers a touchpoint for omnichannel shopping.

Australian fashion retailer Sportsgirl has announced a next-generation shopping innovation project with the launch of what it calls ‘digital windows’.
Coinciding with the launch of Sportsgirl’s quarterly magazine, The Daily Us, as well as a new update for its augmented reality app, Sportsgirl Explore, the digital windows complete what is essentially an omnichannel shopping experience.
The retailer’s integrated platform is reportedly able to allow life-like interaction with products, free music downloads, shoppable pages and beauty tutorials all within the mobile app. However, both the app, magazine and digital windows can be used in tandem to create the most cohesive shopping experience.
Nine digital windows are launching throughout Australia, using projectors to display film onto the shopfronts. Already being rolled out, the windows will be available for viewing for four weeks.
