18 February 2014 marks an important milestone in the evolution of AustAR Labs and it’s vision to develop AR-based education games that are fun and entertaining for children.
Today we tested the GripGrabMoveRelease functionality, developed in Microsoft Kinect, with those who will ultimately be using this functionality – the school children.
Here you will see Daniel & Aaron from the Jackson School, St Albans, Melbourne Australia, testing the functionality on a simple educational game prototype.
As you can see, both Daniel & Aaron are loving the experience and neither wants to stop.
They are closely supervised by their eLearning teacher, Mathieu Marunczyn.
Next step for us is to produce an entire lesson and re-present to the School. So stay tuned for further updates on our progress.
